Evie Smith Kimball, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 5th, 2025, due to medical complications, an unforeseen health issue that took her far too soon.
Born with a creative spark that never dimmed, Evie poured her heart into music and animals—two passions that shaped her life. She was a gifted multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards with ease and joy. Her talent took her into several bands, including Strawberry Friends, Moonicorn, Veiled Morbidity, and Charlie Doesn’t Surf. Whether performing live or mixing tracks in her own space, music was where she felt most alive.
Evie’s compassion for animals was just as defining. She loved every creature she met, but especially her cherished cat, Wallace, who rarely left her side.
Evie was preceded in death by her father, Brent Kimball. She is survived by her mother, Kristen Smith Hart; her sister, Becca Van Wynen; and her brother, Andrew Kimball—each holding treasured memories of her bright mind, quick wit, and generous spirit.
Those who knew Evie will remember her creativity, her kindness, and the unique beauty she brought into the world. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
